Oil and lotion
The purity and health benefits of the products I use are very important to me. I use a very pure expeller pressed safflower oil preserved with natural Vitamin E. I chose a more expensive lotion because it contains Arnica and Glucosamine to promote healing in muscles and joints. The massage oil is enhanced with a balancing blend of essential oils chosen for each individual client.
"Let me tell you, I do not give five stars easily, in fact this is my first, I am an Australian here in Sierra Vista for work. As I compete in triathlons, and marathon events I am a regular for sports massage. Whilst here in Sierra Vista on a training run I injured my calf. The pain was so severe I felt sick. I searched everywhere online and finally at 6:00pm in the evening I was recommended to Justin. Nobody in Sierra Vista seems to work past 6:00pm however Justin (Massageworks) agreed to see me that evening and I didn't look back. Not only was he able to isolate the problem but advise me on what I needed to do at home and with regular massage the injury is gone.
I do not say this lightly when saying that I have been spoiled and his knowledge and expertise will be missed. What can I say, if you read this and need a massage go for it, you will thank me later."

Justin is Awesome!!
I had my first appointment with Justin and I was very impressed with his professionalism and skills as a massage therapist. I was experiencing much pain in my shoulders and upper back and walked out of the office completely relaxed and pain free. I have already recommended Justin to many of my friends and made it clear to my husband that whenever I was due a present, that a gift certificate to see Justin.... would work for any occasion!

Deep Tissue Massage from Justin, the best massage I've ever had. I thought I had a pinched nerve in my neck, I was in a lot of pain and had very little mobility. I saw a chiropractor and had acupuncture done five days prior with little or no results.
I saw Justin and within a few minutes he assessed the problem areas in my back. He spent an hour doing deep tissue work on my back and neck and the difference afterwards was night and day. Now the day after, I feel like a new person. Highly recommended.

I have never met a massage therapist that I would give 5 stars... until now. Justin is amazing. I have a medical condition that causes continuous muscle spasms and it can make it difficult to manage my care. I have been seeing Justin for a couple of years now and he never fails to make a bad condition better and he is always willing to adjust my treatment based on my needs. I've had headaches lasting for days that he has been able to resolve through massage. I can't say enough good things about him.
Anyone in need of an exceptional massage therapist, should make an appointment with Justin.

Five STARS, hand down, for the amazing results I have felt after my massages with Justin. After seeing different therapist for my upper body issues, Justin was able to help me resolve the pain and alleviate the chronic headaches. As a triathlete, I have many lower body issues as well. He, again, was very mindful of my injuries by educating me on the condition plus he took the time to

show me some stretches to facilitate improvement. I would recommend Justin for any athlete or person wanting to improve their overall wellness and peace of mind.

5 STARS are not enough for Justin! I have been to over 25 massage therapists over the past 10 years, after a spinal cord injury and subsequent surgery which has resulted in loss of sensation and muscle control, muscle spasms and cramps, as well as nerve and muscle pain. I also have headaches/migraines & fibromyalgia. I have seen Justin once every 1 to 2 weeks for over 1 year - a true testimony as to how valuable his massages are to me. He is very respectful of my pain and specific needs. With ongoing massage, I have been able to decrease pain meds, muscle relaxants and even medication for depression! He has researched my medical conditions and tailors each session to my needs. I have body image issues and Justin has always made me comfortable with who I am. He is a great positive emotional support to me and I know he always puts my well- being first. There are not enough words to praise his genuine healing heart and skillful and talented massage hands and arms!

Justin has been my massage therapist for a few years now. I have a terrible sciatica problem and he has always been able to provide some relief and help me function better. He always takes the time to ask what's been going on and when I've had a problem (like when I hurt my back last weekend) he makes time to work on me so that I can get back to it. He's affordable and truly cares about his clients.

If you are looking for a highly skilled and professional massage therapist I am your man. With almost 20 years experience in the field of therapeutic massage, my work goes far beyond the typical massage routine. I work closely with physical therapists and physicians in the area who refer their patients to me. They trust me to help their patients make permanent and lasting improvements to conditions that have been causing pain and discomfort. Being an athletic person myself I am able to connect and understand the specific needs of athletes, runners, cross-fitters and body builders. I work with patients from 9 years to 89 years old.
I love what I do and continue to study and deepen my love for this work. Beginning in Santa Fe, New Mexico for my training I became the lead therapist for a large and successful spa in Albuquerque for 9 years before moving to Arizona. I set up my own business, Massageworks, in 2013 and really love the freedom of working for myself and it has allowed me to connect even more deeply with my clients and my work.
I have extensive training and experience in treating chronic muscle tension especially in the neck and back. My specialties include releasing neck tension and tension headaches, lower back pain and sciatica as well as sports massage for athletes pre and post event. I am also well equipped to do prenatal massage with a table specially designed for expecting mothers. If you are just looking for a massage to relax and unwind that is also something that I can skillfully provide. I look forward to meeting you and helping with your specific needs.

Pregnancy & Sports Massage
Many pregnant women find it especially comfortable to be able to lie face down during a massage even in their third trimester. A specially designed pregnancy table allows this to happen. Massage is great during pregnancy to treat back and hip pain and give some relief during this not so comfortable time. Intro price for 1 hour= $70. Gift certificates available!
Exciting news for athletes looking to speed their recovery time! New research has shown how massage heals muscle tissue after strenuous exercise. A medical study had subjects exercise to exhaustion and then receive massage to one leg only. Genes linked to inflammation and soreness were 3 times less active in the massaged muscles compared to the untreated ones. The massages also caused a 30% increase in mitochondria activity, potentially boosting muscle recovery. So not only does massage reduce stress and discomfort but it also has a dual therapeutic benefit of repairing muscles and reducing pain.
